CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

JoyKids, our Sunday morning program for kids, begins the Sunday after Labor Day AT 9:15 AT Central Elementary. Exciting plans are underway. Talk to Carol Palmer or Yvette Woods if you want to be involved in music or as a small group leader with children.

YOUTH MINISTRY

+ Sunday School – begins Sept. 7
A new format of large & small groups for Sunday Mornings will begin for 6-12th grades at 9:15. More small group leaders needed. Talk to Vicar Matthew.

+ Youth Group Camp Out
Plans are underway for the Sept. 12-14th for 6th – 12th graders by Vicar Matthew. Tom Fullerton and Rick Ewald and the Consoli’s are working on details. Just keep the date free. It should be a lot of fun!!! Game Night and Camp Out Planning on Sept. 7 from 5:30 – 7 with Vicar Matthew. Place? TBA

+ Middle School (6th-8th grades)
Participate in a Confirmation In Action (CIA) of drama, faith and friendships on 1st and 3rd Sunday evenings beginning in October as part of our youth group programming. Time: 5:30 – 7pm. September 21, 5:30 will be an orientation with parents. Forms available to fill out for the

+ FREE RIDE Synod Retreat at Camp Letts, Oct. 17 – 19 (grades 6-9). Bring a check: $75 “DE-MD Synod”. Forms available that night.

+ Sr. High Youth (SHY)
1st a.nd 3rd Sunday, 5:30pm, SHY will be hangin’ out --- playing games, sharing and working on their 2009 summer trip to New Orleans. 2nd and 4th Sundays will be large group for 6-12 graders. There are shirts & banners to create, money makers to be planned and some group building scheduled to happen.
