What Do We Believe?

•We are saved by the grace of God.

• Our salvation is through faith alone. We need only to believe that on the cross Jesus died for our sins and for his sake, God forgives us all our sins and offers us the gift of eternal life.


• The church is essential to Christian life and growth. Its members are all sinners in need of God’s grace. We have no claim on human perfection. The joy-filled life comes as we live as his disciples in the world.

• We experience God’s grace in the waters of Baptism and at the table when we celebrate the Lord’s supper.

• The church exists solely for hearing and doing God’s Word. We recognize the wider fellowship of churches and are eager to work along side them in ecumenical ministries and projects.
